Tiraspol, 1 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The general director of NP ZAP Elektromash, Vladimir Trandasir, and the president of Pridnestrovie's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yury Ganin, are taking part in the industry and innovation forum «Industry. Innovation. Technologies», taking place in Kaluga, Russia.
As part of the forum's work, the Tiraspol delegation visited Kaluga's industrial parks, the Tiraspol mediacntre reports.
In particular, they visited a factory of Volkswagen Group Rus, situated in the Grabtsevo industrial park. The factory produces Volkswagen and Skoda motor cars, as well as 1.6 MPI EA211 series petrol engines.
In 2016 Kaluga's Volkswagen Group Rus engine manufacturer has won the Priority 2016 prize in the category Machine-building. This annual prize reveals and rewards the best Russian technologies, solutions, products and services that have attained much success in the sphere of import substitution. Currently, Kaluga’s Volkswagen Group Rus is manufacturing Volkswagen Tiguan, Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Rapid cars. Its maximum production capacity is 225,000 cars and 150,000 petrol engines a year.
Besides, the guests were invited to visit the Kluga-Yug industrial park.
