Tiraspol, 28 September. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Yesterday, the Bendery office of the OSCE Mission hosted a meeting of expert (working) groups on ecology, the press service of the Pridnestrovian MFA reports.
Specialists discussed issues related to the mechanism of execution and implementation by the relevant authorities of the sides of the agreements reached in June 2016 in the field of hydrometeorology and the rational use of the Dniester's aquatic biological resources.
In addition, the Pridnestrovian side put forward a number of promising proposals of high relevance for working out and implementing practical measures to protect and preserve the ecosystem of the Dniester river.
Following the meeting, experts agreed to study the Pridnestrovian proposals in order to develop substantive recommendations to be discussed at the following meeting.
