Tiraspol, September 14. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovie's president in office Yevgeny Shevchuk has filed the documents to the Central Electoral Commission for the forthcoming election campaign. The head of state emphasizes that a desire to continue the fight for the progress of Pridnestrovie has encouraged him to run for the second term.

«I'm going with positive energy. I want to tell that 20 years of disorder in the country urged me to go to power, I became a president. Then, there were 5 years of fight, not everything was a success, but I'm determined to continue the fight to make Pridnestrovie a prospering state. For that reason, those people support me who aren't afraid of justice, and today I have submitted the documents for the presidential race," Yevgeny Shevchuk has told.

We will remind, the official Pridnestrovie's presidential election campaign started on September 11. As for today, there are three candidates for presidency.

A candidate needs to collect from 8340 to 12510 voters' signatures in his favor to be registered. It is necessary to submit documents and signature sheets for registration till November 10.

Elections will be held on December 11. If the candidates don't win more than 50% of votes, then a second voting will be held. Two candidates having the maximum number of votes will take part in it. The minimum voter turnout amounts 25%.
