Tiraspol, August 9. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Elektromash works is chosen as a supplier of a large run of electric motors for the Belarusian NPP.
As the press service of the plant told to Novosti Pridnestrovya, thanks to new engineering developments and their implementation in manufacturing the enterprise masters a new market segment — nuclear industry.
Two general industrial-purpose electric motors of the DAZO series were delivered to the Belarusian NPP in December of the last year. After passing of incoming inspection of the first lot of electric motors, contracting organization decided to place a large order for DAZO series electric motors with Elektromash works according to the individual technical design specification within this project.
In July of this year, the contractor audited the enterprise in order to check readiness of the works to produce electric motors for the Belarusian NPP. The works passed the audit successfully, and production of the electric motors was launched. The stage-by-stage schedule of electric motors delivery to the facility till October, 2016 is agreed.
The Belarusian NPP is a nuclear power plant of NPP-2006 version under construction within the Russian-Belarusian intergovernmental agreement. According to the plan, the first NPP unit should be commissioned in 2018, the second — in 2020.
