Tiraspol, June 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A meeting on environmental issues between the expert (workers) groups from Pridnestrovie and Moldova was held in the OSCE Mission Office in Bendery. As the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry's Press Service reports, during the discussion the memorandum of cooperation in hydrometeorology was finally coordinated and signed. It's important to remind that the necessity for achievement of a number of agreements in the field of ecology was documented following the results of the negotiations round in the 5+2 format in Berlin on June 2−3.
According to the deputy Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Yelena Nezhinskaya, there has already been an agreement on interaction in the field of meteorology regulating among other things exchange of the information between Moldova and Pridnestrovie.
«As for today, we have achieved parity in information exchange," the deputy minister noted. At the same time, according to Nezhinskaya, the text of the new agreement provides an opportunity for meteorological services of the sides to ask colleagues for additional information in case of objective need.
The deputy minister added that according to the protocol of the «Permanent Conference…» in the 5+2 format the experts have to coordinate and sign the memorandum of cooperation in the fishery and the Dniester River exploitation regulation. The project has been already been drafted and is at the stage of discussion.
«In this document, we have also stated all areas of possible cooperation. It has been considered today, but we haven't come to a consensus, and that's why our colleagues have informed us that they will have presented a working option by Monday. We plan to meet to discuss this agreement in Chisinau again on Wednesday," the official noted.
