Tiraspol, June 9. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The President Yevgeny Shevchuk held a working meeting with the Prime Minister, the Supreme Council Speaker and also with the members of the Consultative Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies.
As the Presidential Press Office reports, a set of issues concerning the current social and economic situation and also the situation in the domestic foreign exchange market was discussed. The chairman of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank and the secretary of the Security Council also participated in the meeting.
The Head of state Yevgeny Shevchuk told about the decision to create an emergency working group for the settlement of the currency unrest. The President signed the relevant decree.
According to the document, two representatives from each of the following institutions: the Supreme Council, the Government and PRB — will join group. The emergency working group was ordered to submit the concrete proposals on settlement of the currency uтrest and stabilization of republic's economy for consideration of the President within three working days.
