Tiraspol, 25 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The capital Hotel Russia hosted an interparliamentary meeting between the State Duma deputies of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Pridnestrovie's Supreme Council deputies. The representatives of the Pridnestrovie's public organizations also took part in the meeting. The members of the legislative assemblies of two countries discussed intensification of economic, cultural and political cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Russia.

The meeting participants noted that the event was actually a direct sequel to the February visit of the Pridnestrovie's parliamentarian delegation to the Russian Federation. «Visit of our small State Duma delegation has followed due to the recent visit of the Pridnestrovie's Supreme Council delegation to Russia. At that time, we held extensive negotiations with leaders of the State Duma, with the committees' managements," the State Duma Deputy of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Kuzin noted.

According to the Russian parliamentarian, in February the Pridnestrovian and Russian representatives discussed a number of questions concerning the relations between their countries, however the meeting wasn't so comprehensive, so Pridnestrovie together with Russia still faces a number of problems to be studied and resolved.

«Today, we've resumed our conversation. Actually, this conversation is infinite, it's very long because the issues concerning the recognition of the PMR, the integration into a common economic space, into uniform educational space, into uniform healthcare space are very complicated, but they should be solved," Sergey Kuzin told.

Together with him Pridnestrovie was visited also the Russian State Duma deputies Vladimir Taskayev and Anatoly Sikorsky and the Executive Vice President of the Russian World Fund board Sergey Bogdanov.

In retrospect of the efforts made on integration of Pridnestrovie into the Euroasian space, the Pridnestrovie's Supreme Council Speaker Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that a number of agreements aimed at intensification of interaction between the sides had been signed between the Russian Federation and the PMR.

«The international agreements signed by the leaders of the republic and the Russian partners, for example such well-known agreements and protocols on cooperation as «Zhukov-Smirnov» and «Rogozin-Shevchuk», promote the cooperation in the economic sphere. These documents are a legal basis for interaction and provide opportunities for a direct cooperation between the economic entities," Vadim Krasnoselsky said.

However, according to some meeting participants, including the vice-president of the Pridnestrovie's Union of Manufacturers, Agrarians and Businessmen Yury Cheban, some provisions of these agreements so far are fully not realized. So, according to the economist, it is necessary to work out such provision of the memorandum «Rogozin-Shevchuk» as inclusion of the Pridnestrovie's enterprises in the Russian defense order.

In turn, Sergey Kuzin emphasized that in order to resolve this and other issues Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation have to continue systematic and uninterrupted work on achievement of recognition of Pridnestrovie in the long term.

«We must think of our future. Yes, there is no recognition of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic by Russia, but I am sure that sooner or later it will happen. I am sure that the Russian World and Russians will get strong enough to consolidate and be together like it was throughout many centuries," the parliamentarian declared.

His colleague — member of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Taskayev added that actually at the level of a number of public and political organizations the question concerning the recognition of Pridnestrovie has been already resolved. «Our party (LDPR — editor's note) recognized Pridnestrovie long ago, and Vladimir Volfovich assured of it repeatedly," the deputy told.

Visit of the Russian parliamentarians to the PMR will last for one more day. According to Sergey Kuzin, the primary issue in interaction with the Pridnestrovian colleagues before the State Duma deputies will be elaboration of measures for reorientation of the Pridnestrovie's export from European to the Russian market.

«We have to work, because we have the products for trade, we must establish contacts at the level of regions," the parliamentarian noted in the interview to journalists.
