Tiraspol, 24 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A meeting between the Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev and the UN delegation headed by the UN Resident Coordinator — the UNDP Representative in the Republic of Moldova Dafina Gercheva was held in the Pridnestrovie's MFA today. The chairman of the Coordinating Board on Technical Assistance to the PMR Galina Sandutsa also participated in the meeting, the press service of the foreign policy department reports.
During the dialogue, the sides discussed some aspects of the current joint projects implementation, in particular in the field of social infrastructure recovery and support to the women in crisis situation. UN officials informed the Pridnestrovian side on intention to continue work in such socially delicate spheres defense of rights individuals with disabilities and HIV/AIDS response.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue cooperation on improvement of the population's living standards in Pridnestrovie.
