Tiraspol, 12 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President of the PMR Evgeny Shevchuk, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Kisnichan, Vice Speaker of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva and security and judicial chiefs took part in the session devoted to the summary of the Public Prosecution Service activity last year.
According to the statistics provided during the session, in 2015 5878 petitions about the violated rights and liberties (5219 of them were handled) were submitted by the citizens to the prosecutor's office. 605 petitions were submitted to the other departments. 1035 petitions were settled.
Compliance enforcement measures made it possible to detect 4430 violations of the law, including 176 — in the field of economy, 308 — in the field of the land matters, 202 — environmental regulations, 831 — the labor law, 825 — other rights and liberties of the person and the citizen, 88 — in the field of defense and state security, 54 — in the field of public administration, 490 — the rights of minors, 563 concern the Administrative Violations Code, and 444 — the enforcement proceedings. Also, 193 illegal acts were detected. 165 of them were abolished after the intervention of the Public Prosecution Service.
It was also noted that the Public Prosecution Service drafted seven bills. As much requests were submitted for interpretation of legal acts.
