Pridnestrovie ready to draft agreement regulating transportation and car travel issues

In Kishinev, expert groups discussed transportation and road facilities issues

Tiraspol, 22 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Kishinev's office of the OSCE Mission hosted a meeting of expert working groups on transportation and road facilities. The meeting was organised at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side.

According to Pridnestrovie's MFA press office, the participants discussed the issues of regular passenger transportation by Pridnestrovian transportation companies.

«The sides have agreed to appoint their authorised representatives responsible for operative communication in case any problems arise with Pridnestrovian and Moldovan transportation companies providing regular services," says the MFA's news release.

During the meeting the sides focussed on the necessity of providing Pridnestrovie's full-fledged participation in the international cargo and passenger transportation and travel of private cars.

Pridnestrovie announced it was ready to elaborate a draft agreement aimed at regulating the whole set of problems in this sphere, which would include both the previous agreements and the groundwork proposed by the sides and international partners,

The Moldovan side also initiated the discussion of prospects for cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Moldova within the international insurance agreement Green Card.

The next meeting was preliminary scheduled for the beginning of 2016.
