This subject was discussed within the meetings which took place during the METEC — 2015 exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany. According to the press service of Moldova Steel Works (MMZ), there were negotiations these days between the deputy director general, Seymur Akhundzada, the managing director of UNIBROS Steel Co. Ltd, Vladimir Delich, and the chairman of the board of directors of the ISTOK association, Viktor Kreidich.

In the 1990s UNIBROS Steel Co. Ltd was among the first companies to promote MMZ production in the international market. According to Vladimir Delich, MMZ rolled steel is highly valued in the international market.

He also noted that the decision to resume cooperation was taken as the MMZ management provided proper, favourable conditions for making business.

«After preliminary talks with the new management of the works we took the decision to resume our cooperation. The works' current situation is favourable and clear for us," said Vladimir Delich.

Within the framework of the past negotiations, the parties discussed the installation of new production lines at MMZ, particularly, ferrosilicon manganese line. This product is widely used in all metallurgical technologies and has a great run in all markets.

According to the MMZ press service, the management plans to hold a number of meetings and negotiations which may well result in the agreements to launch this project.

MMZ believes that the installation of new production will increase the volume of investments to Pridnestrovie's industry, cause a considerable rise in highly qualified jobs, enhance the socio-economic situation in the republic, provide additional evidence of Pridnestrovie's attractiveness for foreign investors.
