Russia counts on "5+2" format meeting on Moldova-Pridnestrovie reconciliation

The State Secretary - the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin told that Russia would make all efforts to provide conditions for resumption of the Moldova-Pridnestrovie reconciliation negotiations in the "5+2" format

Moscow counts on holding of a new meeting on Moldova-Pridnestrovie reconciliation in the «5+2» format, Russia is also open for the bilateral cooperation with Kiev in order to complete this task, the State Secretary, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin told to RIA Novosti.

«We particularly focus on enabling the political process in the so-called «5+2» format where we are arbiters and guarantors together with Ukraine. It is also a subject for bilateral and versatile efforts, and we will continue these efforts. We hope that it (meeting) will be held, we are working on this," he told.

The last «5+2» meeting was held in Vienna in April of this year. OSCE offers to hold the next round of negotiations in Belgrade in autumn.
