Bilateral cooperation in agriculture became one of the main topics of the Moldova-Russia inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation meeting.
Moldova was represented by the acting Vice-Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Eduard Grama, Sputnik Moldova reports with reference to the country's Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry Press Service.
At the meeting, the Moldova's official reported on the measures designed to promote interaction between the agriculture ministries of both countries and the departments responsible for food security.
Touching upon an issue concerning Moldova's production export to the Russian market, Eduard Grama emphasized that these days only few companies maintained deliveries to Russia. The acting vice-minister asked representatives of the Russian side to consider a question of export expansion.
In turn, the Russian side expressed readiness to restart export of the Moldova's production to the Russian market step-by-step.
