Russian Foreign Ministry declared to the Moldova's Charge d'affaires e.p. in Moscow Eduard Melnik that it was inadmissible to deny entry for the Russian peacekeepers serving in Pridnestrovie, TASS reports.
It is noted by the diplomatic service that during the conversation the Russian side raised a question concerning the inadmissibility of Moldovan authorities' actions against the citizens of the Russian Federation when they are refused entry in the Republic of Moldova without any explanations. «It is acknowledged that such unmotivated actions of the Moldavan party are conflict with counter to the bilateral agreement concerning the mutual travelling of the citizens," it is told in the comment of the ministry.
«It was firmly declared that particular concern was caused by the multiple Moldova entry denials to the Russian military men of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces in Pridnestrovie, and such fact seriously complicates the important mission on keeping peace and security in the Dniester region," the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasizes.
Such unmotivated practice doesn't satisfy the level of relationship between two countries and it is out of tune with assurances of Moldova's officials concerning the endeavour to the constructive cooperation with the Russian Federation.
