Ukraine plans to destroy the field roads leading to Pridnestrovie

Following the meeting's results, the head of the Odessa region's State Land Agency department told about it to the journalists

The Ukrainian cities' authorities were ordered to destroy the field roads leading to the Pridnestrovie's border.

"At the meeting, they discussed the establishment of the public brigades and the destruction of the field roads. The Kotovsk frontier post's chief informed the participants that it was necessary to destroy the field roads leading to Pridnestrovie in order that the border entry would be through the checkpoints only," TASS reports.

Besides, as it was reported earlier, the Ukraine's State Border Service has begun digging an anti-tank ditch at the 450-kilometer Ukraine-Pridnestrovie border from the last year. According to Kiev, it is dug in case of military invasion (from Pridnestrovie). Five hundred soldiers of the National Guard from Kiev were deployed at the Pridnestrovie- Ukraine border in January.

According to the Pridnestrovie's President Evgeny Shevchuk, the fear of the citizens living in the border areas is fueled on purpose, i.e. to distract Ukrainians from the internal problems.

"People filled with horror seeing the situation in Donbas where the civilians are dying. They fear the war to come to their homes also. On the other hand, these statements are aimed to disgrace Russia and the Russian peacekeepers in Pridnestrovie. It disturbs us. Nevertheless, our army, border guards, the customs officers and police do their regular work," Evgeny Shevchuk told during his interview to TASS.

According to him, the Pridnestrovie's authorities submitted their offers to the OSCE, the Ukraine's Embassy, the other negotiation partners to arrive and witness that there were no military preparations in Pridnestrovie.

"We are surprised very much by OSCE's reluctance to disclose this fact," - the President Evgeny Shevchuk emphasized.
