The News of Pridnestrovie news agency carried out a survey among visitors of the website within December of the last year. Everyone could answer a question: “What was the prominent event in 2014 for you?”
754 visitors took part in this online survey. As the most prominent one was noted economic crisis in PMR due to the Ukraine events. 218 respondents gave such answer. The next event was the difficulties with the Ukrainian border crossing. 194 persons voted for this option.
113 people voted for the ANO ‘Euroasian integration’ advance in social infrastructure building. New trolleybuses in the streets of Tiraspol and Bendery were the most remarkable event for 74 people. 70 survey participants noted the commissioning of the apartment block for orphans in Tiraspol.
66 people consider that the composite coins issue by Pridnestrovie’s Republican Bank became the brightest event of the year. The 70 anniversary celebration of Pridnestrovie’s liberation from the Nazi invaders was marked by 63 respondents.
The takedown of an areal cable road in Rybnitsa was noted by 54 persons. Just as many people consider the year main event to be the medical equipment updating in hospitals; the opening of the medical center in Rybnitsa was also noted by 50 citizens.
The Pridnestrovians’ international sporting achievements were prominent for 41 person.
32 participants of the survey chose some other events, e.g.: the roads reconditioning and the new artificial New Year trees in the cities of Pridnestrovie.
