Tiraspol, February, 8. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today at the Tiraspol office of the OSCE Mission the meeting of expert (workers) groups from Pridnestrovie and Moldova concerning railway transport and messages took place.
Within the meeting, the parties returned to discussion of a number of the problematic issues which did not find the permission for the last few years. Among them as the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR specifies, the is optimization of procedures of import of freights for internal consumption to Pridnestrovie, including the elimination of barriers to the transportation of oil products through boundary transition of Slobodka-Kolbasna on the border of Pridnestrovie and Ukraine.
Special attention was paid to the negative impact of the planned establishment of joint boundary and customs control of the RM and Ukraine at the checkpoint of Kuchurgan (railway).
During the meeting, separate aspects of the relationship in the sphere of passenger train traffic and questions of tariff regulation of rail transportation were also affected.
