Tiraspol, January 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A number of meetings of the Pridnestrovie's President and the Russian legislative establishment were held in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The President of the PMR and the leader of the LDPR parliamentary party Vladimir Zhirinovsky discussed some issues important for the residents of the republic. The president thanked the PM for "the comprehensive support".
According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, the experienced Russian politician provides support and gives very practical advice permanently.
"Once again, Vladimir Volfovich said that he would always support the position of Pridnestrovie and the people who lived in our territory, whatever their nationality was," the head of Pridnestrovie told at the end of the meeting.
Also, the President of the PMR talked to the chairman of the Committee for CIS, Eurasian Integration and Communications with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov and the head of the State Duma International Affairs Committee Leonid Slutsky. The Russian parliamentarians noted that they monitor the situation in Pridnestrovie and around the republic attentively. As allways, the deputy corps keeps giving comprehensive support to Pridnestrovians.
During the meetings in the parliamentary offices, it was talked about the progress in the issue concerning the receiving of the Russian citizenship and medical certificates by the residents of Pridnestrovie and implementation of maternity capital in the territory of the PMR. The sides also discussed the course of the 5+2 negotiations, the need of implementation of the reached agreements and the efficiency of Pridnestrovian representation at various international venues.
During the conversation with the chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee for Education and Science Vyacheslav Nikonov, the head of state talked about integration of the Pridnestrovian education in the Russian system, about practical interaction in the PSU-MSU format and reasonability of use of maternity capital funds for education in Pridnestrovie.
Preparation for the Russian presidential election, 2018 in the territory of Pridnestrovie was one more important topic during the discussions with the Russian deputies. The sides admit that historically Pridnestrovie shows civil responsibility and voter turnout, and, accordingly, all necessary conditions should be created for their participation in such important event.
