Tiraspol Authorities lay flowers at Russian consulate for victims of blast in St. Petersburg metro

The tragedy occurred on the blue branch of the St Petersburg metro at 14:40 yesterday. 11 people were killed, 47 passengers were wounded by an explosion.

Tiraspol, April 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Representatives of Tiraspol State Administration, city council, education system, culture and sport came to honor the victims of the terrorist attack in the St. Petersburg metro to the building of the Russian consulate in Tiraspol. Many people brought flowers as a sign of common grief and pain.

«We lay flowers in honor of those innocent people who were tragically killed. I think that my words, our feelings and our common pain are felt by all our compatriots — all Pridnestrovians, all people of Tiraspol. We want to tell that we are with Russia not only because it helps us, but because we are a part of Russia," the deputy head of the Tiraspol State Administration Maria Pashchenko noted in the interview to our reporter.

According to the preliminary data, 14 people were killed by the blast in the St. Petersburg metro, about 50 people were wounded. For cause explosion, the Russian Investigative Committee has brought criminal case under article 205 (Act of Terrorism) of the Russian Criminal Code.
