Today, the Russian soldier was detained at the border control of the Kishinev International Airport, Sputnik News Agency reports with reference to some source in the Information Security Service of Moldova.
«During the baggage examination of the passenger from Moscow, the military equipment was found. The documents of the detainee gave evidence of his military service; he was going to Tiraspol in order to continue the contract service," the insider told.
Moldova Border Police noted that the soldier was refused entry to the territory of the republic, and he will be sent back to Moscow by the next flight.
It is important to remind that detentions of the Russian military men at the airport of the Moldova's capital are nothing new these days. So, two Russian officers who were going to Pridnestrovie to inspect the Russian military unit were detained at the Kishinev airport and sent back to Moscow last week on May 14.
