Tiraspol, July 27. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic hosted a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Stetsyuk and a United Nations delegation headed by Roman Shpak, who is responsible for political affairs in Europe and Central Asia of the UN Department for Political Affairs, Peacebuilding, and Peacekeeping Operations.
During the conversation, the parties touched upon a wide range of issues. In particular, they exchanged views on the current regional situation and its impact on the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Special attention was paid to the prospects and plans for project cooperation for the next two years within the framework of the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
In concluding the meeting, the interlocutors expressed hope for the continuation of substantive dialogue and cooperation in the interests of peace and stability, according to the PMR MFA website.
