Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister discussed license plates issue with Czech Ambassador

As Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized, the restrictions initiated at the Moldova’s request have already led to the range of acute humanitarian problems’ emergence

Tiraspol, September 15 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At the PMR Foreign Affairs Ministry, the department’s head Vitaly Ignatiev met with the Czech Republic’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Moldova Stanislav Kazetsky.

According to the PMR Foreign Affairs Ministry press service, during the parties’ conversation discussed the negotiation process’ current state between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Particular attention was paid to the prohibition on Pridnestrovian vehicles’ entry and movement on the Ukraine territory from September 1, 2021. Vitaly Ignatiev drew attention to this issue’s extremely acute nature, stressing that the restrictions initiated at the Moldova’s request have already led to a range of acute humanitarian problems’ emergence. For instance, we’re talking about the impossibility of the Pridnestrovian reanimobiles’ leaving for Ukraine medical institutions for providing an urgent medical care.

During the discussion, the PMR Foreign Minister noted that the Pridnestrovian side expects the Republic of Moldova to fulfill its contractual obligations and is interested in assistance from international partners in this matter. The RM’s compliance with previously reached agreements within the negotiation process’s framework would eliminate from the agenda a complex of social and humanitarian issues as well as would significantly improve the people lives.

The meeting took place within the framework of the Czech Republic’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Moldova Stanislav Kazetsky’s first visit to Pridnestrovie. At the meeting’s end, parties expressed their hope for further constructive cooperation
