The President met with the heads of administrations – chairmen of the Councils of the villages of Podoima, Grushka and Severinovka, Kamenka district in the course of work. They discussed current issues that require increased attention and prompt solutions. Some of them were brought up for wider discussion, organizing a discussion via video conference with the invitation of the leaders of the PMR Government, the Supreme Council, a number of ministries and departments, and the head of the district.
The use of materials (sand, gravel, crushed stone) mined in local quarries for repairing rural roads is among the topics discussed. They talked about quotas and the need to improve the current mechanism. Village councils will be the first link in the application chain on behalf of Vadim Krasnoselsky. The ownership issues of municipal or state of certain sections of highways, for example, along Kalinin Street in the village of Severinovka were discussed. The answer from the head of the district Vladimir Bychkov is decisive: the road is under the jurisdiction of local authorities. The repair of the sidewalk was delayed in the village of Podoimitsa. They looked into the reasons and gave instructions to solve the problem. Another request from the residents of this locality is to repair the section of the road that runs through the center of Podoimitsa and leads to the school. Villagers from Grushka and Severinovka have similar requests.
In addition, they are asking to renovate the House of Culture in Severinovka, and in Grushka, on the contrary, to demolish the building of the former House of Culture, since it is in disrepair and cannot be restored.
The issue of water supply was raised. All three settlements need the development of a centralized drinking water supply system. Minister of Economic Development Sergei Obolonik spoke about the state program for the development of drinking water supply. It is designed for several years – from 2024 to 2028. An annual allocation of about 12 million rubles is provided for water supply to rural areas, the total amount of financing is 60 million. The situation is difficult in all directions, but is especially bad in the steppe zone and in the north of the republic. The emphasis is on the Rybnitsa region this year. An 18-kilometer pipe will be laid there to the water intake point. The district of Kamenka was included in the program this year not as rural area, but an urban area, the deputy chairman of the government informed. The head of the district Vladimir Bychkov clarified that the targeted five-year state water supply program included Kamenka, Rashkovo, Khrustovaya, Podoimitsa, Yantarnoye. There is an investment program of the State Unitary Enterprise “Water Supply and Sanitation”. The amount of work at each site is large, and the costs will be significant. The head of Kamenka detailed information about the existing needs and plans.
The interlocutors discussed other areas of life in the district’s villages. Thematic meetings and on-site working meetings were scheduled.
