“Propaganda with false accusations and biased assessments” - the PMR MFA on the OSCE PA resolution

The Foreign Ministry declared a strong protest against the adopted resolution

Tiraspol, July 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR Foreign Ministry commented on the resolution of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, published on July 3 following the session in Bucharest (Romania). It contains calls which have already become traditional to withdraw Russian peacekeepers and various denigrating clichés invented to discredit Pridnestrovie, such as “violations of human rights”, “intimidation”, “restrictions on freedom of movement” and others. It is interesting that the document does not contain a single word about Moldova’s massive violations of the rights of Pridnestrovians, about the terrorist threat and the real reasons for blocking the “5+2” negotiations. This was noticed in the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry, where the OSCE PA resolution was called “an example of propaganda and deprofessionalization.”

“We regard the incident as complicity of the OSCE PA in a hybrid war against the PMR, which grossly contradicts the goals of the Organization and undermines its mediation efforts,” the PMR Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Foreign Ministry declared a strong protest “in connection with the false accusations and biased assessments contained in the text of the resolution.”

“The published set of stamps is a textbook example of propaganda and deprofessionalization of the members of the mentioned body, which demonstrates the lack of even an approximate understanding of the situation around Pridnestrovie and basic humanitarian knowledge,” the PMR Foreign Ministry emphasized.

The OSCE PA has lost touch with reality and the skills of competent dialogue, as evidenced by the reluctance to have objective information, noted in Tiraspol.

“Pridnestrovie will adjust its approaches to communication with the OSCE PA and other structures that have turned into a propaganda tool,” the PMR Foreign Ministry noted.
