Tiraspol, June 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Stetsyuk and representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Alexander Stetsyuk recalled the successful experience of interaction with the organization in previous years, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Deputy Minister drew the guests' attention to the problems that arose due to Moldova's fault with the import of medicines and medical equipment for the needs of the PMR healthcare system. The diplomat called on WHO representatives to help eliminate existing administrative and political barriers in order to provide Pridnestrovians with high-quality and affordable medicine, the press service of the PMR Foreign Ministry reports.
Concluding the dialogue, the parties agreed to maintain regular contacts, as well as to continue the implementation of relevant projects - including within the framework of bilateral interaction between WHO and the Ministry of Health of the PMR.
