Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the office of the Head of the State Service for Sports of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Today's meeting of the President and the official is not of an official nature. Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived to personally congratulate Vyacheslav Sokolenko on his anniversary. The birthday person celebrates his 70th birthday.
The President highly appreciated the coaching and administrative qualities of the hero of the day, expressing gratitude for his significant contribution to the development of Pridnestrovian sports. Vadim Krasnoselsky mentioned that there are Olympic champions among Vyacheslav Sokolenko’s students, and told about the fact that Pridnestrovian mass sports reached a qualitatively new level with the direct participation of Vyacheslav Sokolenko.
Vyacheslav Sokolenko has been heading the State Council on Sports since December 2016. He has extensive coaching experience in rowing. He was twice elected to the Tiraspol City Council. He was named “Person of the Year” in the “Achievements in Sports” category in 2020. Vyacheslav Sokolenko has state awards, including the Order of Merit in the Development of Sports (awarded in June 2023).
