PRB issued silver coins dedicated to the Hero of the Soviet Union Stepan Kolesnichenko

The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 series has also been replenished with 80 years of the Battle of Stalingrad coins

Tiraspol, May 3. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovian Republican Bank put into circulation new commemorative coins.

The series Heroes of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War was replenished with silver coins S.K. Kolesnichenko - Hero of the Soviet Union (1913-1943) with a face value of 10 rubles. Their circulation is 100 pieces. As reported on the PRB website, these coins have an identification certificate (passport), packed in a transparent capsule and presented in a case.

In The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 series new 80 years of the Battle of Stalingrad coins with a face value of 25 rubles appeared. Banknotes are made of base metal, their circulation is 2500 pieces. 

Commemorative coins of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank made of precious and base metals are a legal means of circulation and payment on the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, are required to be accepted at face value in all types of payments by all organizations, regardless of their form of ownership and area of activity.
