Meeting of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Kelly Keiderling was held at the presidential executive office. The foreign diplomat was accompanied by advisers on political issues. The PMR Foreign Minister took part in the discussion.
Vadim Krasnoselsky, welcoming the guests, noted that the number of topics requiring discussion does not decrease. The agenda is rich and varied. The PMR President mentioned the initiative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Osmani to convene the participants in the negotiation process, noting that the Pridnestrovian side is ready for equitable dialogue at any platform. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the statements of some Moldovan politicians that the negotiating tactics of small steps are obsolete, and the activities of the working (expert) groups are more an imitation than work. The PMR President emphasized that such assessments are difficult to dispute in the current realities. The PMR President noted that the priority is to ensure the safety of citizens. He considered it appropriate in this context to initiate the interlocutors to the details of the investigation of the prevented terrorist attacks. Kelly Keiderling was part of the OSCE delegation, against whose members a crime was being prepared, and which was prevented.
The Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova expressed her gratitude for the provision of security and for access to information regarding the prevented terrorist act. The diplomat especially noted the invariable desire of the leadership of Pridnestrovie to maintain peace even in the most difficult geopolitical circumstances. According to Kelly Keiderling, possible options for productive negotiation process resuming are discussed with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani and the Special Representative for the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian conflict Thomas Mayr-Harting.
