Tiraspol-Chisinau, February 27. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, Moldavskaya GRES extended the contract for the supply of electricity to Moldova for another month.
As reported on the website of the Moldovan company Energocom, about 244,000 MWh will be purchased from MGRES in March. This will amount to 88% of all the electricity that Moldova imports.
The contract price remains the same as in December-February - $73 per MWh.
Moldova plans to buy the required volumes of electricity from the Romanian company Nuclearelectrica and on the Romanian stock exchange OPCOM. Electricity is more expensive there: 91 euros and 163 to 188 euros, respectively.
