Tiraspol, November 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The evening before, the political representative from Pridnestrovie was supposed to fly to the Russian Federation in transit through the airport in Chisinau.
“The flight on an air liner was disrupted by deliberately delaying passport control procedures and profound checks in the so-called second line, which includes the inspection of personal belongings and luggage," the MFA of the PMR reports.
The Foreign Ministry notes that this provocation was sanctioned by the Moldovan leadership, which, hiding behind the technical operator` backs in the person of the border police of the Republic of Moldova, in such a primitive way, in violation of the existing agreements of the negotiation process, is trying to limit the activities of the political representative of Pridnestrovie.
Politically motivated pressure on citizens and officials of Pridnestrovie at the Chisinau airport occurred before, however, administrative obstacles have never led to the disruption of scheduled flights.
With this provocation, Chisinau demonstrated its real attitude towards rights and freedoms, the negotiation process and showed its political level and diplomatic quality, the statement of the Foreign Ministry says.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR considers the unprecedented measures of personal pressure on the head of the negotiating team of Pridnestrovie as an attempt by Moldova to destroy the negotiating mechanisms and increase the escalation of tension.
