Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Claus Neukirch at the presidential executive office. The European diplomat’s visit to Pridnestrovie is a working visit, one of the many over the past four years. He systematically visited the republic, participated in the negotiation process as a representative of the OSCE, came as part of various delegations, periodically met with the PMR President tete-a-tete. Vadim Krasnoselsky, welcoming the guest, thanked him for his attention to Pridnestrovie, the efforts made to preserve and intensify the work of the “Permanent Conference…” format, and the desire to find a practical solution to the existing problems on the negotiation agenda. The PMR President highly appreciated the level of competence of the diplomat, noting that the circumstances did not allow closing problematic issues, nevertheless, work was carried out and will be continued with the successor of Claus Neukirch as Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, who will take office on October 1 this year. Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed confidence that the experience of working within the framework of the 5+2 format would be useful to the Austrian diplomat in his future activities.
