Tiraspol, February 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Operational Headquarters has been established in Pridnestrovie to assist foreign citizens who temporarily arrive in the republic from Ukraine. The relevant decree was signed today by President Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The Operational Headquarters is headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, also consisting of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development, heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of State Security, the State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Health, and the heads of state administrations of cities and regions.
The Operational Headquarters' tasks include analyzing the current situation with citizens from Ukraine, providing them with assistance, and coordinating the activities of the authorities in this area.
Also, the Operational Headquarters will have to develop and submit to the President proposals on the temporary procedure for Pridnestrovian border-crossing by foreign citizens and the procedure for their registration.
The Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Health are instructed to open first-aid posts at existing checkpoints on the border to provide round-the-clock assistance to those who arrive in Pridnestrovie. While the Government is to provide round-the-clock transport to deliver people to places of accommodation in Pridnestrovie.
In addition, the Government and heads of the regional administrations will have to determine places for foreign citizens` accommodation and provide them with necessities.
Recall that earlier President Vadim Krasnoselsky made a statement, emphasizing that present there were no grounds for introducing a state of emergency or other special legal regimes in the PMR.
