Tiraspol, December 3. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie reacted harshly and to the point of the declaration of the OSCE Ministerial Council on the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian conflict.
The Foreign Ministry considers the practice of bending the truth and keeping silent about the real reasons and perpetrators of the destruction of the negotiation mechanism as short-sighted.
“The indulgence of destructive actions of Moldova, the lack of a proper and objective assessment by the OSCE stimulate Chisinau to even greater provocations, which will ultimately lead to irreparable consequences. In this sense, the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, who, inspired by the OSCE advocacy, once again demanded that Russia withdraw its peacekeepers, who ensure peace on the Dniester, without realizing the consequences of the peacekeeping mechanism breakdown, are quite illustrative," the statement says.

The declaration of the OSCE Ministerial Council on the settlement of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian conflict, adopted without taking into account the opinion of the Pridnestrovian side, is defective and does not reflect the entire scale of the negotiation process stagnation, which has reached a critical level of degradation.
Even taking into account the good intentions of the majority of international participants in the dialogue, we consider the practice of bending the truth and keeping silent about the real reasons and perpetrators of the destruction of the negotiation mechanism as short-sighted.
The declaration does not say a word about the transport, banking and financial blockades of Pridnestrovie applied by Moldova, about an absolutely innocent citizen A. Samony`s flagrant arrest and conviction, about numerous other violations of the rights of citizens and legal entities of Pridnestrovie, including restriction of free movement, blocking of economic activity, among them in the field of cargo and passenger transportation. Despite the systematic appeals of Pridnestrovie to the international community with calls to facilitate the early lifting of pressure measures from Moldova, the OSCE Ministerial Council not only did not condemn the actions of the Moldovan side but also refused to acknowledge the existence of a whole range of problems, including the one established from September 1 of this year a ban on crossing the border of Ukraine by vehicles with license plates from Pridnestrovie.
Today Chisinau demonstrates an openly mocking attitude towards the negotiation mechanism, ignoring the officially assumed obligations, disrupting meetings in the 5 + 2 format, deliberately delaying the appointment of its representative on political issues, threatening Pridnestrovie with new blockades and restrictions. One can endlessly theorize about “guaranteed observance of human rights” and “territorial integrity”, but without tangible practical and consolidated efforts of international mediators in the “Permanent Conference ...” it is impossible to return Moldova to the negotiating table.
For the second year in a row, the current chairmanship of the OSCE has been carrying out an openly disastrous work on the track of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement, in fact, without preventing the degradation of the dialogue, turning a blind eye to the gross violations by Moldova of all the negotiating principles and the rights of the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie, not even being able to organize at least one meeting in the 5 + 2 format. Against such a depressing background, we are witnessing openly stretched and embellished statements by the OSCE Ministerial Council, trying to give the appearance of control over the situation.
The indulgence of destructive actions of Moldova, the lack of a proper and objective assessment by the OSCE stimulate Chisinau to even greater provocations, which will ultimately lead to irreparable consequences. In this sense, the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, that, inspired by the advocacy of the OSCE, once again demanded that Russia withdraw its peacekeepers, ensuring peace on the Dniester, without realizing the consequences of breaking the peacekeeping mechanism, are quite illustrative in this sense.
The Pridnestrovian side appeals to the international participants of the 5 + 2 format, including the OSCE, with an appeal to return to the practical level of real work, having achieved the earliest possible restoration of the negotiating structure functionality and focusing priority efforts on the full implementation of Moldova's obligations under the Berlin Plus package, which m is capable of protecting the rights and interests of people more effective than any declarations.
