Tiraspol Central Electoral Commission approved the ballot papers form for presidential elections

Bulletins will be equipped with several protection degrees

Tiraspol, October 07 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/.Today, the PMR presidential elections preparation was discussed at today’s meeting in the Central Election Commission.

Every ballot will be fitted with several degrees of protection, the PMR Central Electoral Commission (CEC) press service reported.

“An extensive array of protective equipment is used in the ballots papers’ production for the Pridnestrovian election campaigns. We’re using more protection degrees than, for instance, we’re using in its production for similar Russian election campaigns,” Elena Gorodetskaya, Chairman of the PMR Central Electoral Commission (CEC) emphasized.

Elena Gorodetskaya reminded ballots papers will be issued after the end of the procedure for nomination and registry candidates for the post of state head and no later than December 3 this year. After that, the Central Election Commission will send all ballots to the territorial election commissions for their further transferring to the polling stations.

The issue of amendments to the scheme of polling stations’ formation was also considered by the CEC members. Particularly, they talked about the polling station No. 141 location’s changing in Rybnitsa. Previously, the site was located in the House of Culture in the Ivanovka village. However, the cultural center requires major repairs. In this regard, it was decided to consider the proposal on the station location’s change on the medical and obstetrical stations’ territory.

According to Elena Gorodetskaya, “The medical and obstetrical station was renovated in the year 2021. This premise will be comfortable both for precinct commissions’ members and voters.”

The CEC members unanimously supported such a decision. The Rybnitsa District Council of People’s Deputies and the territorial election commission were instructed to take additional measures to inform voters about the voting premises’ changed location.
