Tiraspol, June 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Nikolay Orlov from Tiraspol, together with a group of Russian athletes, was admitted to international competitions. The Pridnestrovian athlete was included in the list of 35 athletes from Russia, published on the official website of the International Association of Athletics Federations World Athletics.
The Russian national team has been sanctioned by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) since December 17, 2020
As reported on the website of the State Service for Sports of the PMR, in the near future a number of competitions lie ahead for the javelin thrower. The youth championship for athletes under 23 years old will be held in Chelyabinsk on June 18-20, while the Russian adult championship will be held in Cheboksary on June 23-27. There is also the Cup of Russia (Kursk, July 17-18).
At international starts, Nikolay Orlov will perform in neutral status, not as part of the Russian youth team.
