Vadim Krasnoselsky held personal meeting with Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Artem Turov

Communication of Vadim Krasnoselsky with the Russian parliamentarian Artem Turov, who was accompanying the vaccine allocated to the Pridnestrovians as humanitarian aid from Moscow, continued at the presidential executive office. The coordinator of Rossotrudnichestvo projects in Pridnestrovie Nikolay Zhuravlev, Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva took part in the discussion.

Vadim Krasnoselsky once again thanked the Russians, the Russian President Vladimir Putin for their help, noting that the arrival of Sputnik V is a long-awaited event. The agreement on the allocation of vaccines to Pridnestrovians was reached back in December in the course of the meeting between Vadim Krasnoselsky and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak, but technical difficulties did not allow implementing earlier than today. Artem Turov, in turn, noted the participation in the implementation of this humanitarian project of the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, the Head of the "United Russia" Duma faction Sergei Neverov and other parliamentarians who actively defend the interests of compatriots living in Pridnestrovie.

The interlocutors talked about the importance of vaccination as a tool for preventing the spread of the virus, that the effectiveness of Sputnik V is recognized by many states and inspires confidence among citizens, as well as about new developments of Russians in this sphere. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that vaccination in Pridnestrovie is voluntary and free. Considering the significant number of those wishing to be vaccinated, the order is being formed. The main principle is age. The PMR President noted that he will be vaccinated when his age category comes.

The PMR President raised the issue of certification of vaccinated citizens. He noted that Pridnestrovians who have undergone a full course of vaccination with "AstraZeneca" and "Pfizer" receive the appropriate certificates, approved by the WHO sample. Similar mechanism for obtaining an official document is required for Sputnik V: the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of PMR should be authorized to issue vaccine passports. Artem Turov assured that he would raise this issue immediately upon his return to Moscow.

The meeting participants discussed other issues of the Pridnestrovian-Russian interaction. The agenda is known. Many issues remain relevant for a long time and require constant bilateral contacts.
