Tiraspol, April 02. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Within the business trip to the Russian Federation capital, the PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev met with the Ambassador-at-Large of Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn.
Diplomats exchanged opinions on the current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. During the meeting, the unsatisfactory dialogue dynamics at all levels, including the framework of expert (working) groups work as well as meetings of representatives for political issues.
Vitaly Ignatiev noted the progress absence in resolving the motor transport, telecommunication service, criminal cases as well as inter-bank cooperation field problems, which are conditional upon ongoing the Moldovan side evasion from the previously reached agreements implementation.
While on the subject of the negotiation process prospects this year, the diplomats argued for the necessary to intensify work at all its levels. They also emphasized the inadmissibility of any unilateral steps, which are leading to the deterioration of the dialogue atmosphere as well as rights and interests infringement of people, who are living in Pridnestrovie.
“At the same time, the interlocutors converged on the necessity for more involving international participation in the settlement process and realizing the potential of the Permanent Meeting... platform, including by the process of organizing meetings in this format on a regular basis,” the PMR Foreign Affairs press service reported.
The Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation development in various fields, including the fight against a new type of coronavirus pandemic was also discussed by parties.
At the end of the meeting, parties expressed mutual interest in continuing a standing working communication across the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation’s actual directions.
