The President took part in the meeting of the Collegium of the PMR Ministry of State Security

The results of operational and service activities for 2020 were summed up at the Ministry of State Security. The meeting of the MGB Collegium was attended by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The Minister of State Security Valery Gebos, making a report, noted that the departments of the Ministry have implemented tasks in the main spheres of work, and announced the priorities for ensuring the state security of the republic for 2021. Among them there is activation of counterintelligence activities, countering terrorism and extremism, issues related to ensuring the protection of state secrets and information security. Measures to improve the professional level of employees, improve the security system and equip the state border were also identified.

The President after listening to the report gave a description of the external and internal factors that influence the life of Pridnestrovie. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the vector of development of Pridnestrovie should be based on three principles - political stability, economic security and social justice. The President drew attention to the need to intensify counterintelligence measures to identify, prevent and suppress the encroachments of the special services of foreign states and organizations on the constitutional order, sovereignty, territorial integrity and defense capability of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the importance of preserving and popularizing the traditional cultural values ​​of the Orthodox Cossacks, holding military-patriotic and spiritual-moral events.

Vadim Krasnoselsky, concluding his speech, satisfactorily assessed the work of the employees of the PMR state security bodies, thanking them for their work in difficult conditions.
