Tiraspol, December 8. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Government held a scheduled meeting of the Coordination Council for the Economy, during which Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik presented the main indicators for November.

Thus, for enterprises over the past month, compared with October, a decrease in loading by 3.5% was recorded. In December, work is also predicted at reduced capacities: in general, 11% below the November figures, according to the Government’s website.

According to Sergey Obolonik, this situation is traditional for November: the decline in indicators occurs against the background of the highest results in October in the year.

The negative dynamics was noted in the food and building materials industry. For the latter, late autumn and winter is the traditional time for a decrease in indicators.

Ferrous metallurgy and chemical industry are showing good results.

According to the results of foreign economic activity in November, exports decreased by about 6%, imports – by 9.5%. However, the growth of imports is planned by the end of December, when enterprises purchase materials for work at the beginning of next year.

“In general, thanks to the anti-crisis support measures taken by the state, and the huge efforts of the producers themselves, it was possible to prevent a serious drop in the output of the republic’s industrial complex. The preliminary results of 2020 may be within a 3% lag from the level of 2019,” summed up the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik.

As the Minister of Finance Tatyana Kirova said, at the end of November, all payments were financed in full and on schedule. Anti-coronavirus measures are also regularly funded. Until the end of the year, funds for this item of expenditure are in full, according to earlier forecasts.
