Dubossary Region, November 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A new water pipeline has been laid in the village of Dubovo, Dubossary Region. The work began last year, when they drilled a new well, installed a tower and laid 3,600 meters of water supply networks, according to the Dubossary State Administration website.
This year, the village completed the second stage of work to connect the rest of the village to the central water supply network. 4,350 meters of water supply networks were laid in the village, 35 residential buildings were connected to the new system.
Valery Yatsko, foreman of the water supply networks of the Dubossary section of the State Unitary Enterprise Water Supply and Sewerage said that the work in that settlement had been completed in a short time in order to be in time before winter hit.
“The village of Dubovo has a difficult terrain. There is a gas pipeline nearby. Many trenches had to be dug by hand to avoid damaging other networks. Nevertheless, we have coped with the task, we are glad that now the villagers will be provided with high-quality drinking water. Moreover, many water points were already without water, and in the summer period villagers were acutely aware of the lack of water. Now everyone will have water,” Valery Yatsko said.
This year, new water supply networks were also laid in Novaya Lunga and Boska, and last year, water was supplied to the villages of Novye Goyany and Novye Pogreby.
The Head of the Dubossary State Administration Ruslan Chaban emphasized that work was scheduled for the next year in the village of Doibany-2. He noted that all settlements of the Dubossary region should have water.
“I would also like to note that a wide range of measures is being taken in the city and villages of the region to provide residents with drinking water. So, last year, employees of the water supply company replaced the central water supply network on 18 streets, work was also done to replace the water supply and sewerage networks in the basements of 12 apartment buildings. This year, work to improve water supply quality continues,” Ruslan Chaban said.
Recall that the tasks of water supply to remote villages and townships of the republic are being actively addressed on behalf of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky as part of the implementation of Pridnestrovian Development Strategy for 2019-2026.
