Tiraspol, October 20. /Novosti Pradnestrovia/. The Tirotex-Energo integrated enterprise is a unique innovative project in Pridnestrovie. A power plant, which was created specifically to ensure the energy independence of Tirotex, is one of its parts. In its basic, the company uses cogeneration technology, which allows it to simultaneously generate energy of two forms, necessary for textile production: electrical and thermal (steam and hot water).

Earlier, the Tirotex factory received electricity from urban power grids, and thermal energy generated at its own boiler station. Such a scheme required large sums of money, which affected the prices of textiles. The modern power plant has made it possible to significantly reduce costs and optimize production not only the necessary energy, but also finished goods of Tirotex.

The idea of establishing such an innovative enterprise in Pridnestrovie appeared in 2007. From the next year, engineering began, and then construction of the facility. The director of Tirotex-Energo Vadim Levitsky described the uniqueness of the project.

“The unique feature is that the enterprise has built not in an open field, but fit into the already existing infrastructure of Tirotex. Because of this, it was more difficult to determine the place for communications and further power transmission,” said Vadim Levitsky.

The director of Tirotex-Energo underlined: all equipment, that used at the enterprise is European, it’s reliable and economical. In construction and installation works took part more than 10 Pridnestrovian enterprises. By early 2010, a complex of commissioning works had begun. Industrial manufacture and generating electric and heat energy had started in August of the same year.

The Tirotex-Energo company is built on a cogeneration power plant, which has no analogues in the republic and neighboring countries. Electricity is generated by eight gas piston aggregates. A heat from these engines used for generating steam. This works with the help of four waste-heat boilers. They produce five tons of steam per hour. In addition to them, three steam generators produce required amount of steam.

The power plant is completely automated. All process is controlled from the equipment room, which can be called the brain of the entire enterprise. The power plant-master, Evgeny Shumeiko described, that here operational staff consecutively look after certain production parameters, to respond to timely manner to any deviations from the norm.

“There is a visualization of various appliances, both electrical and thermal. Most operational regulation of the equipment can be made from here. The direct stop and start of the gas piston aggregate is also made from the control room. Each unit has its own computer, where all sensors are connected. Therefore, it is possible to track various technical features,” said Yevgeny Shumeiko.

Everything that’s going on in the manufacturing of Tirotex-Energo is monitored in the control room. There is a large screen that displays the current status of each technical unit of the integrated enterprise. The operator is monitoring the progress of the technological process in real time. His main purpose is to clearly respond to an emergency situation and take appropriate measures.

Vadim Levitsky noted, that most produced electricity has consumed by the Tirotex factory. The rest of resources is used by more than 30 large Pridnestrovian enterprises. Those include Electrical Distribution Systems, Sheriff, Kvint, Factory Moldavizolit and others.

At the enterprise employs about 150 people. The director of Tirotex-Energo describes, that during 10 years of work, everyone has become highly qualified specialist. Since 2008, the power plant employees have been received skills development in Germany. One of them is Stanislav Kozhechkin, an electronic engineer, who also received training in 2018.

“Our skills development had lasted for a week. Since that time, we also had lectures, during which we explored all necessary techniques that have been sufficient for technical supporting. There were also practical trainings. Finally, we had passed all exams, after which we received access for performing certain work in our manufacture,” said Stanislav Kozhechkin.

Vadim Levitsky pointed, that such skills development provide benefit not only to employees, but also to the factory. A specialist who has acquired new skills, shares them with other employees of the power plant. Skills development of our internal staff allows to service the equipment at the enterprise independently. Thus, there is unnecessary to call foreign specialists for every planned maintenance.
