Tiraspol, August 24 ./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today the first expert (working) groups videoconference meeting on legal and documentation support for citizens of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova took place in the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Within the framework of the meeting, the sides continued reviewing issues on working out a data exchange comprehensive mechanism that contains citizen’s personal data and discussed as well the mutual data exchange in the line of civil registry, the press service of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry reports.
Aiming at solving practical issues arising among citizens, in the near future the sides agreed to exchange the document blank samples that both states’ authorities issue.
The current procedure will be completed in accordance to the May 16th, 2001, Protocol on mutual recognition on the territory of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova of documents issued by competent authorities of both sides.
