Tiraspol, July 24 ./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the near future, Pridnestrovie will receive Russian allowances for pensioners. This was announced today by the press secretary of the President of the PMR Denis Podgorny. According to him, the delay in the tranche is connected with the coronavirus pandemic.
''Work on this humanitarian tranche is carried out by the President of Pridnestrovie, the Chairman of the Supreme Council, and the Prime Minister. They do their best to advance this project. I am sure that the Russian Federation, despite the sanctions and the economic crisis, will find an opportunity to continue this humanitarian project'', Alexander Korshunov, the Chairman of the Supreme Council noted.
Recall: pensioners in Pridnestrovie have been receiving a Russian allowances since 2008. The monthly payment is 150 rubles.
