Moldova demanded that the Russian Ambassador ignore events in Pridnestrovie

Earlier, at a board of Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry, Oleg Vasnetsov assured that Russia would continue to be a reliable guarantor of peace and security in Pridnestrovie

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) of Moldova, Dumitru Sokolan urged diplomats accredited to the Republic of Moldova not to participate in events in Pridnestrovie. Point.md reported that he stated that at a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov.

The Ambassador of Russia is a frequent visitor to Pridnestrovie. The day before, Oleg Vasnetsov took part in the board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and congratulated his Pridnestrovian colleagues on the day of the diplomatic official of Pridnestrovie. He also assured that Russia would continue to be a reliable guarantor of peace and security in Pridnestrovie.

Meanwhile, a resolution has been submitted to the Moldovan parliament on a vote of the head of MFAEI Aurel Chokoy. The Deputies, following the unionists and participants in the war against Pridnestrovie, were offended by the Minister’s statement that Russia had stopped the war on the Dniester. They claim that Moldova fought with Russia in 1992. At the same time, basic international documents that recognize the peacekeeping role of Russia in Pridnestrovie were ignored.
