Tiraspol, January 21. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. It is known that for a pass to the main European song contest Eurovision 2020 from Moldova will fight 35 musical groups and individual vocalists. Among them is the Pridnestrovian band LAnGERON.
Very soon a selection will be held in Chisinau. All performances will show on TV. At this stage the scenic clothes are not obligatory. The display of elements of a show is also not required, it is reported on the website of Point.md.
The main criteria of selection will be a melodic component, originality, vocal and performance itself.
If according to the results of the contest the jury members come to a unanimous decision, the winner will be determined. If opinions are divided, the final will be organized soon.
Pridnestrovian group LAnGERON will perform the song «Hi Five» at the selection.
It is known that the musician Pasha Parfeni, who participated in the contest in 2012 and took the 11th place, decided to try again at the Eurovision Song Contest. He was also the first vocalist of the Pridnestrovian band SunStroke Project which won the third place in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017.
By the way, Parfeni received musical education from teachers in Tiraspol. In the early 2000s, he studied at A.Rubenstein College (now Pridnestrovian Institute of Arts).
