A traditional festival event for October took place – festival of winegrowers in the Park named after Alexander Nevsky of Bendery. Pridnestrovian farmers and agricultural producers, representatives of large enterprises, small businesses and household plots involved in growing grapes, processing and winemaking as well as the production of related products, presented the fruits of their labor to the guests. A festival is a fair, a cultural event, an opportunity to express or strengthen position in the market, and a discussion platform. An important function of such meetings is the exchange of experience, establishing and expanding business contacts. A special atmosphere is created by creative groups representing the diversity of national cultures of the Pridnestrovian people.
The President's family was among the guests of the festival. Vadim Krasnoselsky and his wife visited various farmsteads, exhibition and retail locations. They talked with entrepreneurs. The PMR President met with many more than once in vineyards and factories, as well as at working meetings, during which issues of the development of the agro-industrial complex, state-entrepreneurial interaction, and support for agriculture were discussed. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that today’s communication is informal, but has no less value. They discussed this year's harvest. The festival participants said the season was successful for viticulture despite the specific weather conditions. They talked about the new and classic grape varieties grown for the region.
The creative component of the holiday did not go unnoticed by the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky in a conversation with the artists compared the cultural wealth of the multinational people of Pridnestrovie with the variety of grape varieties grown on Pridnestrovian soil.
They talked about the importance of developing park culture, which would have been impossible without the creation of landscaped and atmospheric areas. The current year is rich in thematic festivals and holidays, the interest in which from Pridnestrovians and guests of the republic is growing. The season of open-air festivals in the republic is long. This year the weather is favorable not only to viticulture, but also to the park’s cultural life.
