Tiraspol, December 19./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Within the framework of the interest rate subsidy program, Electromash plant acquired new equipment – laser metal cutting machine and modernized the jig-boring machine. This will significantly increase the quality of the produced products and expand the range of services.
Electromash needed the laser-cutting machine for a long time. For a number of years, the company benefited from one of St. Petersburg plants. With the acquisition of new equipment, all manipulation became possible to produce on-site, saving time and material resources.
“The machine is intended for cutting of steel required for manufacturing of the main parts of the electric starters and rotors. Its use will allow Electromash to increase the flexibility of production of the enterprise significantly, to accept non-standard orders (engines with non-standard parameters, etc.), as well as to reduce the time of manufacture of products,” Maxim Medushevsky, Director of the Special Design Bureau of Electromash plant says.
Belarusian colleagues advise local specialists on the work on the new equipment. Alexey Stecik, Head of the Laser Technology Bureau of the Rukhservomotor Minsk Company, which produces these machines, noted that the advantage of the installation was the absence of fast-wear elements. The service life of the machine is more than 20 years.
The enterprise says that in order not to lose the main customers and buy new ones, it is necessary to keep up with the times. This is reflected not only in the purchase of modern equipment but also in the modernization of the old equipment. This year about 20 installations were updated.
Today, after six years of downtime, the jig-boring machine, characterized by its mass characteristics, has been drive in operation. According to Alexander Samotoyev, Head of the Energy Mechanical Service of Electromash, the equipment allowed to achieve high accuracy of parts processing, which reaches one hundred parts of a millimeter.
