Tiraspol, November 26./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Stetsiuk met with the Human Rights Adviser-UN Resident Coordinator in Moldova Bea Ferenci and the National Coordinator of the UN High Commissioner Office, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR reports.
Greeting the guests, Alexander Stetsiuk stated that development of collaboration with the UN was one of the main priority of the Pridnestrovian foreign policy. As he said, the activity of ON entities in the Republic was focused on the social and humanitarian sphere and had a practical orientation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation in Pridnestrovie the perspectives of the UN Human Rights Program based on the recommendations of the UN Senior Human Rights Expert Thomas Hammarberg. A whole range of events has been developed within the program framework, based on the positive experience of cooperation with UN agencies taking into account the needs and recommendations for the Pridnestrovian side.
