Tiraspol, November 18. / Novosti Pridnestrovia/. 43 Pridnestrovian sportsmen participated in International Taekwondo tournament WTF (Olympic version) – the Cup of Republic of Korea’s envoy. All this athletes are trainees of republic union of Taekwondo WTF.
About 500 participants from Romania, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Serbia, Pridnestrovie and Moldova participated there. The tournament took place in Chisinau in November 15-16.
Our athletes won 11 gold, 16 silver and 12 bronze medals.
The winners of the tournament in their weight and age categories became Igor Kancur, Vladimir Kirilin, Ilya Rotar, Artem Varnyan, Alekander Revva, Artem Kalinich, Maxim Gargoja, Artem Zvezduk, Kirill Karpov, Yaroslav Brailian and Maxim Kaush.
The Pridnestrovian team won third place. Sportsmen were awarded the Cup and a certificate of honor from the organizers of the tournament.
