Vitaly Ignatiev and Сlaus Neukirch analyzed results of meeting in the 5 + 2 format

PMR Foreign Minister considers that it is necessary to intensify work between rounds at various levels of the negotiation process

Tiraspol, October 14. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev met with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Сlaus Neukirch. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service reports that the Pridnestrovie Ambassador-at-Large in the rank of Deputy Foreign Minister Ruslan Slobodenyuk also attended the meeting.

Diplomats analyzed "Permanent Meeting ..." session results which was held in Bratislava on October 9-10. The Pridnestrovian side outlined its vision regarding the reasons and factors because of which the negotiators have not still signed the final protocol of the meeting and were forced to suspend the meeting.

“Vitaly Ignatiev told about necessity of gradual return to regular meetings in the 5 + 2 format, as well as to intensify work between rounds at various levels of the negotiation process. It was also noted that signing a comprehensive protocol of industry agreements in the format framework may correspond to the interests of positive promotion of the process,” it is said in the message.

The interlocutors also discussed a possible agenda for expert work at the Bavarian conference , tentatively scheduled on early November.
